International Recording Artists Christopher Caffery and Johnny Lee
Middleton of "Savatage" have used
StarPiks since October of 1994. I've had the great pleasure and
privilege of making custom picks for them not only for their
personal use, but for sale at their concerts in the merchandise area. Yes,
the picks sold at their shows are the same ones Chris & Johnny Lee use
all day every day. It's been a marvelous thing to be able to create

StarPiks is also the creator of the "Official Savatage Pick
Necklace" The pick is available in Stainless Steel, Titanium and Sterling
Silver and has the Savatage logo engraved on one side and the large letter
S from the Band's logo, on the other side. A few years back, I also had
the privilege of creating the Chris Oliva commerative key rings. For
something a little different, the dragon (from the Poets & Madmen
album) can be engraved on one side and the Savatage logo can be engraved
on the other. They are available directly and exclusively
from StarPiks.

They're also available in beautiful Titanium: Thin (.016") and
Medium (.022") I can create any shape you'd like from the smallest "jazz" style pick
to the unusual and multi-edged "Sharkfin" type pick. I also
make and engrave bass picks for all you bassists out
there in the metal of your choice!
Custom engraving
by hand is available for
your band's logo, names, designs etc.
(engraving is done on both sides of the pick unless otherwise indicated
by the customer).
When you use a StarPik to play your guitar or bass, the
engraving gives an excellent surface to grip.
I've been creating and using them myself for over 25 years. The sound definition
and tone are absolutely awesome!
Thinking about ordering a stainless
steel or titanium pick as a necklace? Either pick can be
ordered with a 24" stainless steel chain that includes a clasp
(matches beautifully with either a stainless steel pick OR
titanium) and
one can trim it to the desired length for a custom fit. Or, I now
offer a 24" sterling silver chain to match the sterling silver picks.
OR, for the best of both worlds, how about adding a sterling
silver swivel clasp on the chain of one's choice? The pick can be
detached in an instant to play with, and no pesky, permanently attached
'jump ring' to get in the way!

Stainless Steel or Titanium picks will not clog strings
like softer metals (such as copper, brass, bronze, aluminum, silver and
gold). When strings get clogged, the harmonics
change...noticeably!
The silver
and gold picks that we make are meant to be worn as jewelry or for
presentation pieces. But if one wishes to use it to play with,
hey, why not!?!?!
